i'd like to be naked and calm
in front of you like the moon was
the night we met
but I'm not convinced you'll be satisfied
with my crooked hide
so I'll blow out the lanterns
although we are not going to sleep
I just want to sleep
won't you let me be
in the morning time
the windows will come to know
the weight of our breathing
the condensation is lacking
because I awoke alone again
I'd like to be naked and calm
in front of you like the moon was
the night you left
I can't pick a favorite track on this album. I think I've listened to it 20 times, maybe more. it truly is the embodiment of feelings of cozy nostalgia. I can live within a moment in these songs, a moment where the world feels okay and my heart is full.
